16:25:00
Another Italian restaurant has just joined the fierce food industry in Singapore. It might be very challenging as it is located at craig road where lots of popular eatery places around here. PerBacco need to produce some extraordinary stuff to attract the foodie come over. The restaurant is separated to two section, The bar, The dining room.
The bar area can host up to 35 guest. The bar area give us al fresco feel. Which give us the cozy and relax feel to chill in.
The dining room can host up to 45 guest. With it decked out in wine crates and black steel frames, it give the guest an romantic atmosphere, and it's an ideal place for couple.
Frittelle Soffici e Involtini al Prosciutto e Scamorza - $18++
Smoked Scamorza Cheese Wrapped with Italian ham and soft Fritters.
Well wrapped cheese in Italian ham. The saltiness and cheesy texture was well combined. The soft fritters was well fried till fluffy and soft but it was slightly bland.
Strudel di Verdure e Fonduta di Formaggio - $18
Grilled Vegetables & Mozzarella Strudel with Cheese Fondue
Surprising good as the Mozzarella strudel was fragrance and combined well with the grilled vegetables. The cheese fondue give the extra punch. For a non-veggie eater to finish up the entire plate, you will know this is good.
Crocchette al Granchio - $12
Crab Meat Crocchette with Spicy Tuna Sauce
One bite and you hook into it. Well fried and seasoned. The spicy tuna sauce give the right mixture to this dish.
Linguine alla Carbonara di Astice - $28++
- Linguine with Lobster and Egg Yolk Cream Sauce
I feel like i am at heaven. This dish was too good to put it into word. The sauce was creamy but not overpowering. The Boston lobster was the right ingredient for this awesome pasta.
Gnocchi di Patata con Coda di Manzo Brasata e Tartufo - $28
Potato Gnocchi with Braised Oxtail and Truffle Essence
I feel that the truffle eassence is too overwhelmed. It spoiled the overall taste.
Dentice al Forno con Sugo di Pomodorini e Burrata - $32
Oven Baked Red Snapper Fillet, Cherry Tomato Sauce and Fresh Burrata
It's not easy to taste a really good red snapped dish in Italian restaurant. The red snapper was very smooth and soft, the skin was very crispy and savoury. The cherry tomato sauce goes well with the fresh burrata and red snapper filet.
Guanciale di Vitello Brasato al Vino Rosso - $34++
Braised Veal Cheek in red wine with Cannellini Beans
The well braised veal cheek was super tender and soft. You don't even need to chew much. The cannellini beans were added in to give the dish a slightly nutty flavor.
Cheesecake alla Ricotta e Pesche Sciroppate - $14
Ricotta Cheese Tart with Peach Compote
I can see the chef hard work. The cheesecake was stacked layer by layer! The taste was light, sweet and crunchy. The peach to enhanced the overall taste.
Pannacotta alle Nocciole Caramellate - $12
Caramelized Hazelnuts Pannacotta
I think this dessert was ferrero rocher in pudding form. It tasted really similar to ferrero rocher.
