Cafe Review: Bing Go Jung Korean Dessert House
14:19:00More and more Korean Bing Su restaurant is opening in Singapore. Basically Korean bing su is make off shaved ice, milk and other ingredients. I find bingsu is similar to our local delight iced kayang but is in atas form.
Bing Go Jung started out at Guillemard. Since it opening, they received lots of good reviews and they decided to expend their outlet in the west. So they opened their second and third outlet at bukit timah and west coast.
Simple Menu -
Injeolmi Bingsu - $11
Shaved iced, Korean rice cake, peanuts, almond and condemn milk.
The portion of bingsu was huge. Recommend to share among 2 person. The shaved iced overall taste was quite bland and is not to my liking. The condemn milk added in it didn't help much. But i guess i will try the other flavors next time.
Taste: 0.8/5
Overall, It's hard to survive in Singapore food industry as every month as least got new eatery place opened. You need to have something special to keep the game going. I guess this bingsu is worth it afterall.
