Food Review: The Banana Leaf Apolo
10:32:00The ancient tradition of serving food on a freshly cut Banana leaf has its roots in India. Here in Singapore, the widely popular practice of eating from a banana leaf can be traced back to The Banana Leaf Apolo. The Banana Leaf Apolo has been serving its food on a banana leaf to patrons since it opened its doors in 1974.

Teh Tarik - $2
The tea was aromatic, smooth and easy drinking. So far the best teh tarik that i drank.

Curry Fish Head - $22
My friend and i enjoy the curry fish head! The curry was spicy, fragrance, and thick. It was our first time trying Indian style curry fish head. The fish portion was huge even in small size. The meat was fresh and juicy.
Taste: 3.25/5
Butter Chicken - $13
The butter chicken was good. The gravy was creamy, thick and aromatic. I can tell that they added quite a numbers of spices and herbs in it. The chicken was tender and well absorbed the gravy flavor.
