Cafe Review: Rise and Grind Coffee

Rise and Grind Coffee has enter the fierce cafe competition in Bukit Timah area. More and more cafes is opening in Bukit timah. There is a lot of mediocre and overpriced cafes in Singapore, but Rise and Grind Coffee, i am willing to revisit again and again!

Latte (5oz) -$5
"Smile There Coffee". Decent coffee.
Taste: 2/5
Iced Chai Tea Latte - $6.50
I don't drink chai tea latte but my friend say it was good.
Taste: 2/5
Cheesey Bacon Bits - $8
Well fried fries, crispy and tasty. Going well with cheese and bacon bits. It wasn't overwhelmed. If only the amount of cheese was more generous.

Tom Yum Seafood Pasta - $17
The more popular dish at Rise and Grind Coffee. It came with Prawn, scallop, mussel, mushroom, and linguine in tom yum sauce topped up with parsley and Japanese seaweed.
They catch the perfect amount of spiciness and sourness in this tom yum pasta. The tom yum was aromatic too. I rarely tried a good tom yum pasta in Singapore! This pasta will make me go back for many times. The ingredients was fresh and well cooked.

Linguine (Classic Pasta) - $17
This classic pasta came with Mussel, prawn, cheery tomato, herb leaf and linguine topped up with tomato sauce.
The tomato sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking! But the overall taste was good. I would recommend this to share among 2 pax as you will get sick of this pasta after a few bites.

Overall, the cafe is worth the shout-out and the travelling. The food was really good, can tell how effort they have invested. Tom yum pasta is highly recommended.
