Jthejon is back!!
I will be cafe hopping at Malaysia.
Be sure that will be more Malaysia cafe/food on my blog in future.
1. Faculty of Caffeine.
Faculty of caffeine was opened by a medical student and an interior designer who are both passionate in coffee, food and design. The cafe was designed to Industrial concept. The interior were designed with no less thoughts, with a combination of chic and vintage, it allows a cosy space for timeless furniture.
Caffe Latte - RM9
The coffee are strong with nice body as all are double shot espresso. It was not that bitter and acidity. The coffee bean was 100% Arabica.
Caffe Mocha - RM 10
The mocha was strong and chocolaty enough.
Generous Breakfast - RM 17.50
The signature dish over at "FOC". I felt that it was quite bad, as all the of the ingredients was quite tasteless!! It wasn't worth the try.
Fudgy Brownies - RM 13.50
It was a nice blend of warm cake and cold ice cream, soft icy cream, moist spongy cake and crunchy nutty granola, sweet cake, vanilla and caramel. The brownie was really yummy.
Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Overall, the food quality was not bad and the coffee is a must to try! The ambiance was cozy and chillax, it a good place to chill with friends. It's just about 10-minute walk away from the customs (which translates to about 5-minute walk from City Square).

The place is of rustic ambiance as wood and old timbre is used for most of its exterior designs and interior furniture. All furniture is intricately picked and designed, each with its own character.
Latte - RM 7.90
The coffee was just alright. The coffee aroma wasn't that strong, and it wasn't smooth.
Mash Potatoes with Sausage - RM 15.90
It was pretty good. The mash potatoes was real good, it was creamy, flavorful, and savory. The sauces was flavorful, thick, savory and creamy. The sausage and the mushroom was just average.
Salmon Fillet - RM 19.90
It was pretty bad dish! The salmon fillet was overcooked and was very dry!! The baked potatoes was just pretty average, and the rest of the ingredients was bad too.

Latte - RM 10.90
Royal Mik Tea Slice - RM 10.90
One bite, and the fragrance of the milk tea aroused my taste buds. The sweetness was perfect, and the cream wasn't cloying or too overwhelming at all. The Mille Crepe was so smooth and velvety, it just literally melted in my mouth.

4. Chaiwalla & Co.
Malaysia's first container cafe concept, whereby the kiosk is literally in a container. Beautifully refurbished and giving it a vintage modern look.
Thai Milk Tea - RM 7.80
The Thai milk tea was just average. The milk tea wasn't fragrant and is too light. Tea taste not strong and it was too milky.
Milk Tea - RM 6.80
The milk tea tasted weird as it don't have milk tea taste and the pearl wasn't chewy enough and it was very bland.
Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream - RM 6.80
Brownies was hard but it was chocolaty and flavorful enough. If only the brownies can be softer. The vanilla ice cream was pretty normal.
