16:37:00
Hi Peeps, I will be suggestion some places to chill in town.
Let start off with first stop at starbucks,
1. Starbucks Coffee.
In 1983, Howard traveled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home. He left Starbucks for a short period of time to start his own Il Giornale coffeehouses and returned in August 1987 to purchase Starbucks with the help of local investors. Today, it has more than 15,000 stores in 50 countries.
Cafe Latte - $7.80
Normal American style coffee. But it was good enough to chill at the Starbucks.
Matcha Latte Frap - $7.80
My favourite drink at Starbucks. Never failed to order it whenever i visit starbucks. Matcha latte actually don't have any coffee in it, it just matcha powder with milk. But it still taste good.
Deep Dish Beef Pie - $6.50
If you are hungry, you can grab some snacks over at Starbucks. The snacks here was pretty good too and their cakes. The beef pie was good, the outer area was crispy and buttery, the inside was meaty, fragrant, flavorful an savory.
Food: 3/5
Coffee: 2.5/5
Overall, Starbucks was one of the top place to chill in town among all people. The coffee and food quality was pretty good too.

2. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened the first store in 1963 at Southern California by Herb Hyman.
In 1980s, Multi-store expansion begins, offering a variety of coffee & tea. In 1996, first franchised location in Singapore open. Today, they currently had more than 700 store in the world.
Expresso Macchiato - $5.50
All of the aroma and flavor of the signature espresso with a dollop of milk and foam. Avery strong and bitter coffee for those wanted to keep awake for the whole day.
Double Chocolate - $6.50
Dark chocolate powder boldly flirts with coffee and skimmed milk for one decadent romance. Topped with fresh whipped cream, Chocolate lover surely will love it.
Fettuccine carbonara - $12.90
Bacon, shallots, onion and garlic, cooked in a thick creamy sauce, and tossed with fettuccini, topped up with parmesan cheese.
It was really creamy and flavorful but it was a tad too salty. The pasta texture was al dente. I think it can be better.
Egg Club Sandwich - $10.90
It was just an normal sandwiches. The salad was pretty average and the dressing was a tad too sweet.
Double choc muffin - $6.90
The muffins was moist and chocolaty. This is awesome!
Food: 3/5
Coffee: 2.75/5
Overall, the food and coffee was good. You can easily find the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in town.

3. Costa Coffee.
Costa Coffee opened it first store in 1971 at London. Its creators, the brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa, first sold their coffee to a handful of local caterers. Then to some delicatessens. A few years later, they opened their first coffee shop. Today Costa is the largest and fastest growing coffee shop chain in the UK.
Mocha - $5.50
Taste like hot chocolate instead of coffee. Too much chocolate syrup.
Cafe Latte - $5.50
It's simply made with a shot of espresso and fresh steamed milk. The coffee aroma wasn't strong. The acidity was quite low and taste wise was pretty average.
Mango Cheesecake - $6.90
It was soft, perfectly moist & not overwhelming. The cream ratio was just right.
Food: 2/5
Coffee: 1.5/5Overall, Costa coffee was just average but it can be one of the chocies to chill in town if other coffee place are crowed.

4. Dr Cafe Coffee.

Dr Cafe Coffee first store was opened in 1997 at Riyadh.
Iced Coffee Mocha - $6.50
It was quite disappointing. It was too chocolaty and the distinct richness and taste of espresso was missing.
Cheesecake - $6.50
It was just so dense and smooth yet light at the same time. You have got to try it.
Food: 2/5
Coffee: 3/5
Overall, Dr Cafe Coffee was quite disappointing but the cake was really good, it worth a try if you are chilling at the place.

5. Spinelli.
Founded in San Francisco in 1983 by like-minded individuals Christopher Calkins and Arnold Spinelli, Spinelli Coffee Company, though not the biggest, was an esteemed brand, consistently rated as the best coffee retailer that roasted and supplied more than 20 blends to cafes, restaurants, hotels and food markets throughout San Francisco Bay area.
The first Singapore outlet was opened in February 1996, followed by a rapid and strategic expansion in the business district and downtown in shopping malls.
Cafe Latte - $5.80
I was rather dissapointed with the latte because the coffee beans were not roasted well enough. There's no caffeine kick in the coffee. I do hope the serve better coffees when I'm there the next time round!
Matcha Latte - $6.50
The Matcha Latte is pretty good. It has a nice balance of both fragrant matcha flavor and milk. It was a really nice after meal or tea time drink that soothes the mind and body.
Croissant - $3
The croissant had a delectably sweet crisp and delicate, fluffy insides. and it was buttery without being too cloying though as compared to the others i tried.
Food: 3/5
Coffee: 2/5
Overall, the coffee was average but it was a good place to chill or rest after a good shopping or chit chat with friends.
