JB Cafe Review: Ink N Water

10:29:00

Finally got a chance to try this famous cafe in JB. Previous visit was failed as they was closed. Ink and Water cafe is located at Jalan Pingai.

Ink and Water -  a retro concept cafe. They're famous for their cold pressed juice. Everyone just coming for their cold pressed juice. You need to order in advance incase of disappointment.

 Lets Dance - RM 14.90

Pineapple, apple. lemon.

Refreshing drink. Three fruits combined well and their juices are fast sold out. Went there around 5pm and it's only let with 2 type of juices and the one that i am ordering is the last bottle.

Taste: 3/5

Cold Brew Latte - RM 13.80

Coffee aroma was strong but i felt that this cold brew coffee was lacking of some texture.

Taste: 1.4/5

 Ink Refreshing - RM 11.90

Strawberry, cucumber, mint leaves, soda.  I find that it was a normal soda. Nothing special about it.

Taste: 1/5

 Truffle Fries - RM 12.90

The only cafe in JB that i found serving truffle fries. Truffle fries is hardly seen in JB. But the taste was very disappointing! The truffle aroma wasn't there instead i tasted a mild mushroom aroma. Not worth a try.

Taste: 0/5

Grilled Chicken Chop - RM 17.90

The highly recommended main dish in Ink N Water. The chicken chop was well marinated with spies and the chicken part they used was chicken thigh. The sauce was tangy sweet.

Taste: 4/5

Food: 2.5/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Service: 3/5

My Verdict:

The cold pressed juice is a must-try drink, trust me you will buy a few more bottle back and enjoy it at home. Cause i brought 2 bottle of another flavors juice back. The ambiance was cozy and quiet, me and my friend really like the atmosphere here.
