JB Cafe Review: 节令鼓 Drums Cafe

11:35:00

The first and most unique Twenty Four Festive Drums themed cafe in Johor Bahru. Situated in Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. They're serving coffee, dessert and yong tau foo. What a unique cafe that sell yong tau foo as their main.

The place is full of drum hanging on top the ceiling. A cozy and homely ambiance that make me feel like staying the cafe for the whole day.

 Cafe Latte - RM 9

The latte art was good. Coffee was strong, aromatic and smooth.

Taste: 3.5/5

 Caramel Latte - RM 11

The caramel was a little too sweet for my liking. But it tasted good.

Taste: 2/5

Original Mille Crepe - RM 9.90

The taste of the mille crepe is so rich and creamy. It was very addictive after you had tried it. Trust me, you will want more of it.

Taste: 4.5/5

Matcha Mille Crepe - RM 9.90

The matcha mille crepe was disappointing. The matcha aroma wasn't strong and the crepe was slightly dry.

Taste: 0.5/5

Food: 2/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 3/5

My Verdict:
The original flavor crepe is a must-try cake whenever you visited them. Maybe i should try their yong tau foo next time since is their signature food over their cafe. They even provide board game and comics for you to enjoy it.
