Food Review: Lime House x Yuet Sing Seafood

11:21:00

Introducing Lime House, Singapore’s first Caribbean restaurant combining excellent food and drinks, a relaxing lounge atmosphere and great music.

Inspired by all things Caribbean, Lime House puts you at ease as you tuck into a delicious menu full of both fine-dining and traditional Caribbean dishes, from slipper lobster cocktail and Caribbean fish cakes to baby back ribs and the famous Jamaican jerk chicken.

No Caribbean experience is complete without rum and Lime House offers a unique selection of exquisite cocktails that will transport you to a tropical paradise (and back hopefully).

Lime House is located in a stunning heritage multi-storey shop house in the heart of China town. As well as the ground-floor restaurant, the Lime Lounge bar upstairs is the perfect place to unwind after work or on weekends.
 Jamaican jerk chicken - $26

Boneless leg, Jerk marinated, sweet potato, Jerk BBQ sauce.

The chicken was very tender and aromatic. It was savoury and a tad spicy. The bbq sauce to enhance the overall taste.

Taste: 4/5

Overall, the food was good. The ambience was cozy and chill. Suitable for gathering or host a party over here.

Yuet Sing Seafood Restaurant has been operating for more than 10 years, it's located at Smith Street, offering great Tze Char food in Singapore. The all time signature dish at Yuet Sing Seafood Restaurant is their curry fish head, seafood hot plate, homemade tofu and Chilli crab.

Salted Egg Pork - $12

The salted egg aroma was mild and it wasn't savoury enough. The pork was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Taste: 1.5/5

Curry Fish Head - $21

Highlight of tonight dinner! The curry fish head! Well cooked, the curry was hot and spicy, fragrance, thick, and creamy. The red snapper was used for this dish. The fish was huge and fresh. Binjal, tou pok, lettuce and onion was all in this dish.
