17:35:00

Bistro 1855, taking after their sister company 1855 The Bottle Shop, is the product of a collaboration, to bring about a comprehensive wine experience for consumers. While they retain the retail nature of 1855 The Bottle Shop, housing more than 500 labels in our wine cellar, they also recognize the need for a dining option for their customers. They offer wine and food where value meets quality.

For lunch, they offer main courses that comes with a salad bar buffet spread of more than 50 items to choose from. And to keep things fresh and exciting, main courses will change from time to time so you will never run out of things to try.

When night falls, Bistro 1855 transforms into a wine bar, perfect for a chill-out evening. Dishing out delectable tapas, mains and sharing platters, paired with their polished selection of house wines, it is sure to win over the palates of many!

I was invited to Bistro 1855 1 year anniversary. I had lots of fun and met new friends over there.

Nachos -

Nachos goes very well with a pint of beer.

Jamon Iberico & Melon -

Salty and full of flavor, the thinly sliced iberico ham makes an excellent contrast with the sweet, crunchy Rockmelon. The starter is packed with big, lusty flavours and is best enjoyed with your hands.

 Boston Lobster Roll -

Tangy citrus marinated Boston Lobster Laced tucked nicely atop freshly toasted soft bun. Expect nothing short of a fantastically refreshing serving from the ocean.

Salmon Toasties -

Swirls of Loch Duart Smoked Salmon served over crusty garlicky toast. Definitely a light and refreshing starter dish to begin with.

Squid Ink Otak With Boston Lobster -

A whack of Asian fusion is what you will experience when you chomp down our home-made squid ink otak with chunks of lobster meat.

 Serrano Pork Cheek -

Pork cheek is slowly braised into tender, brimming sweet fatty flavours and served with creamy mash and specially mixed raspberry chili jam. This masterfully executed dish is definitely is culinary pride of Bistro 1855.

Wings -

The marinated shrimp paste fried chicken wings was good. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Meatball -

The Homemade meatball with tomato herbs sauce was great. The meatball was tender, very soft and chewy. The sauce was sweet and savory.

Fresh Turkish Figs -

Fresh, luscious Turkish Figs are paired with ricotta cheese and drizzles of Manuka honey. This decedent dessert is for sure, a commitment piece after your meal.

Eclair -

Black Forest Cake -
