Hawker Hopping: Eunos Crescent Hawker centre x Dunman Food Centre x Marine Parade Central Block 84 Market and Food Centre
09:25:00Few day ago i was having lunch with my dad over at eunos crescent market and food centre. We was curious about the long queue at various stall so we decided to queue and try out the food. This is what we try!!
1. Hock Choon Laska and Lor Mee.
Lor Mee - $3
A bowl of ordinary Lor mee. The LOR was very bland although it was thick and starchy. The sambal chilli wasn't spicy at all. What a failed lor mee.
Taste: 0/5
2. Eunos Kwap Chap.
Kwap Chap - $3 for 1 person
The broth was very bland. Tasted like plain water. They are lacking a lot of ingredients, i think they are trying to con the customers with this low standard kway chap. The other things just normal and not really fresh too.
Taste: 0/5
Mutton Chop - $5.50
First time in my life trying Indian Mutton Chop. The taste was quite unique. The sauce for mutton was sweet and sour, similar to our chinese sweet and sour pork sauce!! The mutton was fresh and don't have the raw mutton smell. The rest of the sides was normal. I can say i will not eat again as i don't really i like it.

Another east side hawker hunt again. This time round, i am having lunch with my former colleagues. Dunman food centre was very ulu. If by bus i will never come, lucky got friends that drive.
1. Stall 28.
White Carrot Cake - $3
This stall has no signboard just 28. It was an pretty average carrot cake as you can find it other food places.
Taste: 1/5
Wanton Mee - $3
Its springy noodle reminiscent of capellini prepared al dente. The noodles when mixed and stirred with the chilli is not overtly spicy, avoiding the cardinal sin of having the sauce overpower the entire plate. The surprise of the dish came in the form of the supremely tasty and hearty broth, a component often neglected and overlooked by most stalls. Maybe it could have been the MSG, but the soup with a perfect blend of shrimp and pork fragrance was in a league of its own.
Taste: 3.25/5
3. Dragon City Frog Porridge.
Dried Chilli Frog - $18 for 3 frog
The frogs are huge and very fleshy. This frogs are definitely bigger than usual, making them more value for money. The meat on these frogs are much more chunky, they are cooked perfectly to become soft and tender. Even the harder-to-eat parts like the ribs is easy to eat as it comes of the bone easily.

Jthejon hawker food hunt continue!! I will be hawker hopping more on east side food as i will start from the east first. This post i will be hunting on marine parade hawker. I will be hunt out all the good food in this hawker.
1. Apollo Fresh Cockle Fried Kway Tiao.
Fried Kway Tiao - $2.50
The most "Wet" fried kway tiao that i ever ate!! But it was good. The lard is the soul of this ubiquitous dish and gives the fried kway teow much needed flavour and taste. There was taste of charred flavour in the kway teow, the eggs, and the cockles helped to enhance the taste. Generous serving of fresh cockle.
Taste: 3/5
2. Seremban Beef Noodles.
Beef Noodles - $4
The sliced beef was nice and very tender. The stewed beef and tripe were both very good. The sauce was more on the bland side thats what i don't like about. The rest was good.
Taste: 2/5
3. Neptune Dim Sum.
Xiao Long Bao with Fish Roe - $3 for 3
This dim sum stall was one of the many few stalls that has long queue. Be prepare to queue for more than 1 hours for it. Tried one of the famous dish in this shop. The xiao long bao with fish roe was something interesting. The skin was a bit too think but it still good. The meat was fresh and the juice that blast out when you take a bite was good. The fish roe never really enhance anything so i think it shouldn't be in it.
