Cafe Review: Tian Kee & Co
20:30:00Tian Kee & Co. started as a local provision shop back in the good old days in 1958 & now it has evolved into an Artisan Cafe & Bar! From the name to the signboard bearing it, to the-fashioned metal mugs, the rusted metal grill gates and windows, everything has been retained to give it an authentic, nostalgic ambiance.
It was very crowed even on a weekday late noon.
Very Berry - $6.50
Very Berry was blackcurrant mixed with fresh milk. I don't really like it as the taste like cough syrup.
Taste: 0.5/5
Ice Pink Lady - $6.50
Ice Pink Lady was rose syrup mixed with fresh milk. The taste was just like our local drink Bandung!!
Taste:1/5
Tandoori Chicken - $15.90
The worst tandoori chicken that i ever tried!! The spices and herbs wasn't strong enough and it was weird. The chicken was tough instead if tender. The potato salad was pretty average.
Taste: 0/5
Cheezy Baked Rice - $12.90
The cheezy baked rice was awful too. It wasn't cheesy and it was tasteless. It wasn't well baked too.
Taste: 0/5
Rainbow Yogurt Cheesecake - $7.50
The Rainbow Yogurt Cheesecake was pretty bad. It wasn't taste like a cake. The texture was very soft like jelly. The taste was bland and weird.
Taste: 0/5
Food: 0/5
Ambiance: 1/5
Service: 0/5
Overall, The food was bad and the service was even bad too. The menu and information was not updated on their facebook page. The service staff was giving us a attitude and very rude.
