Cafe Review: Boufe Boutique Cafe

19:26:00

Located in Phoenix Park, blending simplicity and serenity is what Boufe does best  whether its fusing minimalistic architecture with well thought about food elements, or blending strong flavors into fresh modern menu items.

Attracting a fusion of personalities, from coffee lovers, holidaymakers, fashionistas, locals and families with children and more, the Boufe Boutique Cafe concept certainly proves their sincerity by bringing you an intimate, yet memorable cafe setting away from the bustle.
To top it off, allow yourself some time at the exclusive boutique space by Ohvola, with its overall look blending well with the cafe, housing an array of women's fashion apparel, each piece unique to itself for patrons to purchase.

They offer professional catering for all types of functions and events. Call/email us to book your one of a kind party today or corporate function. Or come on in and dine with us! They take reservations anytime for any occasion (except brunch on weekends).

Dinner Menu (Last order for Dinner at 9pm).

Food:
Iced Latte - $5

Order a iced latte as the weather was burning!! The Iced version latte was pretty good too. The coffee aroma was still strong and fragrance. It was smooth and it was affected by the ice.

Taste: 3.25/5

Iced Chamomile Mint Tea

The house made tea was real good! The iced tea was refreshing, clean, smooth an fragrance. The mint wasn't overwhelmed the overall taste. It was prefect.

Taste: 4/5

Truffle Fries - $13

The truffle fries was good but it can be better. The truffle aroma wasn't strong enough, but the fries was well fried still crispy.

Taste: 1.5/5

Triple B - $21

It comes with sausages, mini croissant, salad, scrambled eggs,  sauteed mushrooms and honey glazed bacon, and fries.

The eggs here at Boufe came in a drier consistency, slightly different from the usual scrambled eggs you get but still tasty. The honey glazed bacon was my favourite in this dish. The bacon tasted like our local "Bakkwa". The rest was just pretty average.

Taste: 2.75/5

Smoked Salmon Croissant - $19

The croissant came in smaller pieces, and I could savor each piece with the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon that accompanied it. The serving of salmon was really generous too.

Taste: 3/5

Strawberry Shortcake - $8

It was GOOD!! The sponge layers were light and fluffy, the whipped cream layers were smooth and not too sweet.

Taste: 5/5

Food: 3.75/5
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Service: 5/5

Overall,  Boufe’s location is charming and food is decent, it  would be a great place to catch up with friends or impress a date. I wouldn't mind go for the extra mile to re-visit the cafe.
