Cafe Review: Mu Parlour
21:06:00MU Parlour (located right above Thai Express) is just a flight of stairs away from a secret hideout. It's not easy to be spotted as we have missed it out a few time when we walk passed it. Mu Parlour is all about the all day brunch, gourmet cheese burgers, coffee/tea and desserts. The café's concept brings forth an arty-farty feel with a blend of modern classic to its furniture.
The secret pathway to Mu Parlour.

Irish Cider - $14
Magners is sold in Ireland as Bulmers. Since the 1930s, Magners and Bulmers have come from the same cider mill in Clonmel, South Tipperary. Using locally sourced apples from their own orchards and nearby farms, Magners is blended from 17 apple varieties and aged up to two years.
It's not really my type of cider. The taste was sourish bitter.
Egg Benedict - $15
A failed egg benedict as the poached egg doesn't look and tasted like a poached egg!! The poached egg is more like hard boil egg. The rocket salad was very bitter. It must be the most bitter lettuce that i ever ate.
Taste: 0.5/5
No. 29 Beef, portobello, horseradish, arugula, Mu secret sauce - $17
It was interesting, The burger bun was in black. It was interesting but the taste was pretty average. The bun was just a normal bun, the beef patty was huge and juicy but it was too salty, maybe is the sauce that make it more salty. The Garlic Fries came along with it was bad!! It was just an pretty ordinary fries.
Taste: 1/5
Food: 0.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 1/5
Overall, Mu Parlour is a great place for people watching if you are seated near the glass panel. And most of the time the cafe is very empty!! The food was very bad but you can go there for a drink and dessert with friends to chill over a empty and quiet cafe.
