Ban Long Wah Hoe Seafood 万隆华和海鲜菜馆 it's well-known for its chilli crab, but me and my foodies friend wasn't craving for crab so we just settle for other dishes. We visited the Tze Char restaurant on a saturday evening. The place was fully packed. We realised that they got a lot of loyal and regular customers, and we was trying to see what's other people ordering, we found out that order than chilli crab, the next popular dish is Hot Plate Tofu and prawn paste chicken.

Appetizer - $2
Sour and appetizing dish to start with. But i think is waste of money.

Sambal Kang kong - $6
Sambal Kangkong (water Spinach) is one of my must order dish whenever i went to tze char place. But this sambal kang kong was very disappointing, the sambal wasn't fragrant, and spicy enough. Instead it was too wet and a bit sweet. It shouldn't be this way. The kang kong was very soggy.

Sweet and Sour Pork - $8
The sweet and sour pork was juicy yet not too sour/strong in the sauce which was done just nice. The amount of pork was quite generous too.

Hot Plate Beancurd - $15
The dish is just a little spicy, with onions, shallots, a bit of chilli bean paste, tofu, prawns, minced meat, vegetables and beaten egg served in a hot plate. The challenge to make a good Hot plate beancurd is much relied on the sauce. The sauce wasn't spicy at all. But the sauce was good, it was a perfect match with rice.

Overall, the food was good, I'll be back again for the chilli crab next time. This tze char restaurant is charging GST. The only thing i don't like was while we just settled down and haven't even read thru the menu and the staff are standing beside us and staring us, even we told to leave and give us sometime to read thru the menu. But it was a worthy trip
