The Bakery Chef is a tiny cozy bakery cafe in the public housing estate of Bukit Merah Central. The nicely decorated cafe offers coffee and a variety of freshly baked and good looking cakes, pastries and macaroons.

The latte was pretty good. It was bold, aromatic and enjoyable.

The long black was good too. It was strong, aromatic and not diluted even it was in iced version.

Affogato - $5.50
Espresso with vanilla ice cream.
It was very strong, thick and aromatic. With vanilla ice cream in it, it was sweet but not overly sweet, and it was good.

Rainbow Cake - $5.80
The rainbow cake consists of six layers of squarish sponge cakes with different colours ranging from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The sponge cake was so soft and fluff, and it wasn't that sweet too. The layers are so pastel colored, it enhances the overall outlook of the cake.

Overall, the bakery chef is one of the best place to have my dessert fix. They don't have Service charge and Gst. And they do delivery too. So head down to their website and find out more.
