Cafe Review: Rabbit Owl Depot

The quaint little store is situated right opposite the National Library & was opened by a couple, Joseph and Alena. This little ice cream parlor was the theme of its design. The counter is a container! There are more than a dozen ice-cream flavours here, and you can expect the usuals though we heard that the best flavours are the Roasted Black Sesame and Pistachio.

Latte - $5
Coffee beans they used are from Sumatra and Colombia. The latte has a light bodied, low acidity with a hint of nutty taste and a smooth finish.

The iced version of iced latte was slightly bland. The hot version tasted better.

Original Snowflake Waffles - $6.50/ with a scoop of ice cream $9.50
The waffles were palm-sized and were really fragrant. It was so crispy and fluffy. The amount of icing sugar sprinkled on it, wasn't too sweet at all. For ice cream i choose a Coconut Flavor. The coconut ice cream was slightly disappointing, the flavor wasn't strong enough but it was not that sweet and didn't melt quickly, perfect for those instagrammers long photo taking.

Overall, the waffles was good but if only the waffles can be bigger. The ice cream wasn't that good, the ice cream need to be improve. I would recommend everyone go for hot coffee instead of iced coffee. Be prepared to be wait for long hours during weekends.
