Bing Bing Ice Cream started in 2004. The Ice Cream Gallery is a small company making artisan handcrafted ice cream, frozen yoghurt and sorbet, with fresh and premium ingredients.

What is so special about Artisanal Ice Cream?

Quite Simply the luxurious taste of a freshly made artisanal ice cream is hard to beat! Best of Ingredients, Best of hands on research, best of loving care in preparation and what you have is a far superior product than what you get from mass produced factory ice creams which are high in sugar and air and very low on quality ingredients.

Artisanal ice cream is ice cream made by an artisan which the dictionary definition of artisan being a ‘skilled craftsperson’. Delving a bit deeper in to the dictionary tells us that a crafts-person is someone who makes things skilfully by hand. Recipes are tried and tasted over and over again to give the most delicious end result.

Artisan producers are able to be ‘hands on’ as they make smaller batches of ice cream that will be sold and eaten in as short a time as possible as ‘fresh’ ice cream is the best around.

They also use processes and machinery that need the ‘human touch’ be it in choosing and mixing the ingredients or keeping a close eye on the freezing to make sure the ice cream is of the smoothest, highest quality possible.

Single Scoop - $3.90

Earl grey with fig ice cream. The earl grey tasted weird from other ice cream parlous. But i think is still acceptable. The ice cream texture was creamy, smooth, fragrance and chewy.

Taste: 1.5/5

Molten Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice cream - $8.30

The lave cake was lacking of moist. It was slightly hard and the chocolate never flow out!! Chocolate aroma wasn't strong too. The vanilla ice cream came along with it was just average.

Taste: 1/5

Waffles with Ice cream - $6.50

The waffles was crispy and it was quite tough, thick and bland. The batter wasn't good enough. The Belgian chocolate ice cream was average. The chocolate aroma wasn't strong and it melted quite fast.

Taste: 1/5

Latte - $4

Food: 0.75/5
Ambiance: 1.25/5 (Tanjong Katong)
Service: 0.5/5

Overall, The ice cream wasn't good enough for me to come back again!! I would recommend everyone to try Little ice cream kafe that are along the stretch of tanjong katong.
