Cafe Review: Penny University

11:25:00

Located along East East Road, Penny University is one of the famous Halal cafe in Singapore now. Don't be surprised with the amount of crowds in any hours.

 Cake Display Counter -

Muddy Espresso with Cold Milk - $5.50

The coffee was good, the aroma was strong , smooth, milky, and not acidic.

Taste: 3/5

Iced Thai Milk Tea - $6.50

It wasn't good and it wasn't taste like thai milk tea at all!! It was a failed drink. It was lacking of the tea taste and it was on a land side.

Taste: 0/5

 Truffle Fries - $8

This must be the worst truffle fries that i ever ate. It doesn't have the taste of truffle oil and the fries was slightly cold and hard.

Taste: 0/5

 Earl Grey Cheesecake - $7.50

The earl grey cheesecake was lacking of the aroma and taste. It turn out to be an awful cake that i didn't even touch it after first bite.

Taste: 0/5

 Hazelnut Trapped - $7.50

The hazelnut cake was really good!! The hazelnut aroma was strong, rich, smooth and moist. I can have another slice of it.

Taste: 3/5

Food: 1/5
Ambiance: 0.5/5
Service: 1/5

Overall, the food quality was below-par. The ambiance was very noisy and warm. I wouldn't recommend it.
