Cafe Review: The Wicked Garlic

23:17:00

From a humble hawker stall in Serangoon Gardens to a full-fledged restaurant in International Plaza, this eatery offers resonably priced Italian grub. A range of thin crust pizza, pasta and risotto make up the menu. They love and enjoy the Italian way of life and its amazing cuisine. That's why they are here to share this experience of satisfying your taste-buds with pure Italian indugence without bursting your pockets!

 Linguine with Chicken - $10

The linguine was well tossed with the garlic, as this plate of pasta is full of garlic aroma but it was lacking of some flavor. I feel that it was lacking of some powerful ingredients to bring up this pasta to the next level. As i would say, this was just an ordinary pasta.

Taste: 2/5

Spaghetti with Mushroom - $9

Spaghetti tossed with garlic and chili padi along with parsley and mushroom. The amount of mushroom was quite generous but the taste is similar to the linguine dish that i have mentioned above. It wasn't spicy enough for me too when i have request my pasta to be more spicy but end up it wasn't spicy enough.

Taste: 2/5

Food: 2/5
Ambiance: 0.6/5
Service: 1.5/5

My Verdict:
I would say this was an ordinary pasta, and it doesn't worth the time to travel over here and try and also the money. Although it was NETT price.
