JB Food Review at Second Link: Jeju BBQ Korean Restaurant x Restaurant Star Chef

The famous Korean restaurant in JB! Was recommended by a lot of bloggers and friends! So we shall give it a try!
It was very crowed during lunch time, so we came back again after lunch peak hours!
Korea Rice Tea -
15 side dishes, kimchi, braised eggs, lettuce, spicy broccoli, mashed potatoes, onion, mushroom, marinated long bean, marinated sausage, marinated tofu, fried tofu with potato, bean sprout, radish with mayo, veggie, and spicy rice noodle.
Japchae - RM 20
The japchae (Glass Noodle) was very dry and quite tasteless!! I will not recommend anyone to try it!

Korean Stew - RM 50
It was served with Kimchi, Pork Dumpling, Pork Belly, enoki mushroom, tofu, lettuce, red bean, spam, and Ramen.
The broth was really fragrance, spicy and a tad sourish. All the ingredients was really fresh and good. I suggest to eat the pork dumpling first as the pork dumpling will be very soggy later if it left inside the pot for too long.

Overall, the food was really good, no wonder it was packed on the peak hours! It worth the visit!

Locating Restaurant Star Chef was a breeze as it is along the same stretch of road with many seafood restaurants. Restaurant Star Chef is highly accessible from Singapore via the Second Link at Tuas/ Gelang Patah.
Saw a lot of good reviews, so we decided to give it a try!
Sambal kangkong - RM 8
The sambal wasn't fragrance nor spicy! The kang kong was very soggy and it wasn't fresh too.

Signature Pork Ribs - RM 15
Disappointing dish! The sauce was awfully bitter and unbearable to eat! We saw the other table never finish this dish too! All touch a bit only!

Salted Egg Squid - RM 15
The salted egg wasn't savory and fragrance enough. It wasn't crispy too. The squid wasn't fresh!

Coconut Crab - RM 80
The coconut crab was interesting but disappointing too! The crab wasn't fresh. The meat was very sandy texture, and it meat stick to the shell . The sauce was unique, i can taste the coconut aroma but it wasn't good enough!
