Went to Malaysia a island name call Kluang with my family.
Kluang (simplified Chinese: 居銮; traditional Chinese: 居鑾) is in the centre of the Malaysian state of Johor. It is geographically located at 110 km north from Johor Bahru, east-southeast of Batu Pahat, west of Mersingand south of Segamat. This district is the only district that does not have a sea front, as it is surrounded by all other districts namely, Johor Bahru, Pontian, Batu Pahat, Segamat, Mersing and Kota Tinggi, except Muar district.
The name Kluang comes from the Malay word keluang, which means a type of flying fox or rather a type of fruit bat. Alas, the critters have almost completely disappeared, and some suspect that the town was named after two mountains that resemble the head and wing respectively of a bat from a distance.
Stayed at a 2 star hotel called Ailang Hotel that our relatives booked for us!
1 queen side bed along with 1 single bed.
Got a tv and a bathe room with a heater. 1 air con and that all.

Normal.
Pork Ribs Soup -
The pork ribs soup was terrible! The soup was tasteless and the pork ribs was super hard!!
Braised Pig Intestine -
The pig intestine was bad! They never clean the pig intestine properly as it has a weird and awful taste!
Braised Tou Pok -
Normal. But the braised sauce was tasteless!
Fried You Tiao -
Very soggy and cold!

Fried Carrot Cake -
The carrot cake was well fried still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Luo Mi Chi -
The luo mi chi was really good. It was fragrance and savory and tad sweet. I had 2 of it!
Century egg porridge -
The porridge was very tasteless and the century egg fail to enhance the taste! The ingredient was very little too!
Fried Yam with Pork -
The fried yam was well fried and the yam aroma was strong! The marinated pork was sweet and savoury!
Prawn Dumpling -
The skin was too thick and the prawn was too dry and hard.
Siew Mai -
Wou Bao -
Interesting dish! It came with chicken or pork belly! We tried both! The chicken version was slightly bad! The chicken was fried but it was quite hard and the sauce was too salty! The pork belly version was good. The pork belly was soft and tender, the meat was very soft till you don't even need to chew it! The sauce was savoury!
Chicken Feet -
Red Bean Bao -
The think was too thick! But the red bean was good. It was fragrance and the sweetness just right.

Some weird and funny rule!
Stir fried Hokkien Mee -
This isn't hokkien mee! The noodle was instant noodle kind! Can taste the instant noodle. The sauce was quite tasteless too. It was lacking of some hokkien mee flavor!
Chicken Cutlet -
Just a very normal fried chicken cutlet and french fried! Nothing special about it.
Salad you tiao -
The sauce was quite sweet but nothing else. You tiao was well fried still cripsy!
Red Bean Soup -
The red bean soup was good. The red bean was very soft. The soup was smooth, fragrance and addictive! They add orange skin in it!
Lotus Soup -
The lotus soup was lacking of some flavor in it. It was sweet but i guess it was just the sugar syrup!

Black Sesame ice cream -
The ice cream was very creamy and the black sesame aroma was strong! I am satisfy with this ice cream!
Peanut butter and kaya waffle -
The waffle wasn't crispy instead it was soft and tasteless. The peanut butter and kaya enhanced the waffle taste if not it will be very awful.
Small Restaurant opposite our hotel -
Coffee -
The coffee was good. The coffee aroma was strong. I guess they are using charcoal roasted coffee bean as i can taste it. It was really a good coffee.
Teh -
The milk tea (Teh) was very normal. The milk has over haul the teat taste!
Fried Lao Shu Fen with Egg -
It was too dry, oily and tasteless!
Fried Mee with Egg -
It was good. The fried mee was savoury and good. The noodle texture was al-dente.
Fried Mee siam -
Another failed dish! The fried mee siam was very tasteless. Don't even have any mee siam aroma!
Soft Boiled Egg -
Butter and Kaya Toast -
The toast was well toasted. The butter was very buttery and fragrance. The butter was too overwhelmed as i can't taste any kaya!
Hokkien Mee -
The hokkien mee was too good that we order second plate and even dabao back to Singapore! The sauce savoury and a little sweet. This dish was very popular over here!

Went to a bakery and hamper shop!
Display of wedding hamper and gift!
My parents brought a hamper for our relatives! The hamper consist of, 1 fruit wine, 1 nuts, 3 small bottle of bird nest, 1 hello kitty biscuit,1 butter cookie, and a few packet of candy!
Cheese cake stick -
The cheese cake was very normal. The cheese aroma was very light!
Brought some bak kua back too!
They sell Chicken and Pork Bak Kwa. The bak kwa over here was too hard and dry.
Relative House -
Buffet dinner over at relative house!
Having a 8-course meal over at Xin Yuan Xin Restaurant!
Veggie and Meat Platter -
Served with Braised meat ball, braised pork meat, braised mushroom, fried tofu, broccoli, baby abalone.
The braised meat ball was good. It was meaty, chewy and savoury.
Shark Fin Soup -
The shark fin soup was bad. I love shark fin soup the most. This shark fin soup was lacking of shark fin and the flavours! It was quite bland and it was quite watery!
Roasted Duck with Yam -
The roasted duck meat was quite hard, the skin was lacking of savoury flavor. The yam at the bottom was not well fried and the yam aroma wasn't strong!
Salted Veggie Steamed Fish -
The fish was very tasteless. The sauce was salty but it doesn't have much taste in it!
Sambal fried Prawn -
The prawn was huge, firm and juicy! The sambal was well blended in it. One of few good dishes over here.
8 Treasure Rice -
The 8 items are, rice, smoked pork sausage, smoked chicken sausage, Yam, Duck Meat, chestnut, 2 more items i am not sure!
The rice was very salty! None of us finish it!
Braised Pig Trotter -
The braised pig trotter meat wasn't well braised as the meat wasn't tender enough. It was still quite tough, the skin wasn't chewy and shimmery enough. The braised gravy was normal.
Fried Yam Ice cream -
The only best and second dishes i like among the 8 dishes! The ice cream was well fried and the yam ice cream aroma was strong and it still cold and creamy.
That end of our 3 day 2 night trip to KLUANG!
Overall, Kluang is a very boring place. Nothing much to do and it was quite dangerous! We almost got rob. The coffee shop opening time is around 8am. We wanted to have breakfast around 7am but could't find any shop opening! Most like we won't be back again!
