Media Tasting: Pool Grill @ Marriott Singapore Hotel

The ultimate poolside luxury, this al fresco restaurant is a romantic dining destination in the heart of the city. It’s time for a celebration as Club Marriott launches a new and more exhilarating card programme.



Kick start a wonderful evening with pre-dinner cocktails amidst mesmerising tunes by a violist and the magical ambience by the pool. Started off my Italian cuisine experience with this marvelous appetiser “ Baccala Mantecato”.



It was cod fish mousse along with polenta, chives, and toasted squid ink brioche. The light creamy cod fish mousse was the perfect dish to start off the meal. 



Moving on to my next dish, Pasta. This pasta was served in Open Raviolo, Duck Ragout, Tomato Confit, and Black Truffle. The most savoury dish for tonight. This pasta was well goes with a glass of red wine.



 My main for the night, “Papillote of Salmon Fillet”. The salmon fillet served with kipfler potatoes in Mediterranean sauce. This salmon fillet is wrapped in parchment paper and steamed in the oven giving the salmon extra aromatic and flavourful. The fish was Moist, delicious, and almost fool-proof salmon. Don’t forget to squeeze the lemon as it will give you a different taste.



 “Tiramisu’ dessert to complete my meal. The tiramisu was served with savoiardi biscuit, mascarpone cream and coffee bean. The tiramisu was creamy, sweet and coffee aroma was strong. Best dessert to complete my dinner. 4-Course Set Dinner with wine pairing $98++ per person
