Cafe Review: Do.Main Bakery

Playing on the words “Dough” which is the basic ingredient in our products and “Main” which means “Hands” in French, Do.Main pays tribute to the two most important basic main elements in baking.“Do.Main” also refers to a prominent place or home and “Do” is about making whilst “Main” is about being the core. Do.Main Bakery Café is indeed a place where Chef Freddo does his work of art using dough as the main ingredient to make the best products by hand.
They are located at katong area, almost every hours you can customers coming in and buy their bakery.

My Verdict:
The food was average but i like the friendliness of the staffs. They are so kind and patients to describe more about the menu and food stuff to us. They are very knowledgeable too. Some of the pastries was good, you just need to try out more. It's worth the try.

Open Space Kitchen that you can see how the master chefs is baking the aromatic pastries.
Latte - $5.42 +
Average latte where you can get it at any normal cafe.
Taste: 1/5
Earl Grey Lavender Tea - $4.67+
Average tea.
Taste: 1/5
Salted Egg Croissant - $5.61+
The salted egg sauce wasn't that savoury and flavorful. I find that it was lacking of some ingredients. As for the croissant, it was lacking of some crunchiness.
Taste: 0.5/5
Ham and Cheese Croissant - $8.04+
The cheese and ham was fresh, i was quite surprised. The croissant was what i described above but the croissant was flavorful and buttery.
Taste: 1.5/5
Quiche Lorraine-Slice - $8.04+
The quiche lorraine was creamy, cheesy and savoury as the bacon was in it. I quite like the crust as it was buttery and bit salty. Well match with the green salad sides.
