Ginza Lion Beer Hall @ Suntec City

The very first beer hall opened in Ginza, Tokyo in 1899 as "Yebisu beer hall". This beer hall was originally established as the sales division for sapporo beer. It was well received and packed by public since its opening. Ever since, they had dedicated to contribute the dining culture in Japan.
Sapporo Beer - $8.50++
It's a must order beer!!
Truffle Fries - $11++
The truffle aroma was strong but the tasted of it was too oily and can't taste much of the truffle.

Calamari - $12++
Average calamari where you can fried it yourself. Nothing special about this dish.
Taste: 1/5
Chicken Wings - $12
The chicken wings is so finger licking good!! The chicken wings is the must-order dish. The chicken wings has a distinct crunchy amour, this is crispy but it has that extra umami edge as they have marinated in shoyu for at least a day.
Taste: 4.5/5
Carbonara - $15++
The classic carbonara. It was creamy but it was salty too. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try it.
Taste: 0.9/5
Fish and Chips - $20++
The dory fish was deep fried still golden brown and crispy. It was marinated with sapporo beer, but don't worry the beer taste wasn't that strong and it doesn't overpowering. The meat was smooth, and film. Fries was crispy and salty. The house-made tartar sauce good.
Taste: 3.8/5
Grilled Chicken - $22++
Grilled chicken with thyme. Served with fries, broccoli and demi sauce. The chicken thigh was well grilled but i don't really like the thyme as it gives me a weird taste in it. If this grilled chicken wasn't came with the sauce, i guess i will just order another dish. I don't think much people can accept the taste of it.

My Verdict:
Ginza Lion was a good place to chill and hang out with friends/colleague after a long day of works. A good place to drink and have some finger foods. The price-wise, it was slightly pricey but it was worth it.
