JB Cafe Review: Foodie Wedding

It’s a new trend in Johor Bahru (JB) for cafes to be jointly set up in the same establishment as bridal studios or boutiques. The beautifully set up studios and boutiques form the perfect backdrop for a chic cafe/ restaurant, the F&B options draw crowd and publicity to the studios, and also generates additional revenues to defray overheads. A brilliant collaboration. Foodie wedding, Adjoining D’gui Bridal, it features a “European style” cafe, with a charming exterior and equally lovely interior.
The restaurant has limited outdoor seating, with most of its indoor seating spread out into 2 distinct segments, both with a lovely European rustic charm.
OMG!! The interior is really damn amazing!! So far this is the best interior designed cafe i have been to in JB!
Cafe Latte - RM 9
The latte-art was normal. The coffee was just average. Coffee aroma was't strong and the coffee was very light!

Taste similar to latte.

French Potato Tots - RM 13.90
The potato tots (Mini Hashbrown) was good, it was well seasoned! The outer area crepe was good too, it was buttery and savoury but drink more water after having this!

Scallops Spaghetti with Caviar - RM 24.90
The pasta was served in Tomato cream sauce! The tomato sauce was too overwhelmed as the taste covered everything in this dish! I can't even taste any scallop or caviar aroma! Caviar is a delicacy consisting of salt-cured fish-eggs of the Acipenseridae family.

Roasted Chicken Chop and Scramble - RM 19.90
Nicely marinated and tender chicken chop, with juicy scrambled eggs and a side of salad. Nothing outstanding, but definitely a delicious dish. The only thing i don't like is, this dish was too oily! A layer of oil can be found underneath the egg and chicken.

Overall, Besides the unstable wifi, we definitely found this to be a great cafe worth returning. Look out for more posts of chic cafes in this area. It's a NETT Price cafe!
