Lok Lok in Johor Bahru x 阿標雲吞面 Ah Piaw Wonton Noodles
18:02:00I'am back to JB again for another round of food hunting!! I will be doing a cafe hopping post after this. So stay tune!! Went to JB with my JB food kaki.
Was recommended by my JB food kaki Veron. Went to have lok lok and the famous " Wanton noodle" and " Abalone Noodle" for dinner.
Lok Lok -
The lok lok van, it has a wide range of lok lok to choose.
What we choose: 2x Fried Broccoli (Taste: 4/5)
Bacon with Golden Mushroom (Taste: 1/5)
Fried Pig Intestine (Taste: 2/5)
Fried Mushroom (Taste 0.5/5)
Fried Pig Blood Cake (Taste: 1.5/5)
Out of all, the fried broccoli was the best! The must to order. It was savory and crispy.
Fried Pig Blood Cake that's something new and interesting. Singapore don't sell it. The taste-wise, it was smooth, and it has a strange taste that i dont know how to describe it. But it was worth a try and it was good.
Ah Piaw Abalone Noodle -
It served with Abalone, Meatball, Prawn, Lean Pork Meat, Fishball, Sea cucumber, Pig Liver, Minced meat and lettuce.
The broth was full of seafood aroma and rich. The ingredients in it wasn't that fresh, especially the fishball, it has a fishy smell.
Taste: 1/5
Mee Pok -
The mee pok was good, the sauce was savory and spicy. It was so different from Singapore wonton noodle. The wonton noodle is the must to try too.
Taste: 2.5/5
Food: 1.5/5
Ambiance: N.A
Service: 1.5/5
Overall, the lok lok and wonton noodle was really good but not the abalone soup. During wee time it will be very crowed. Best is to come at dinner time.
