Cafe Hopping in Johor Bahru

I am back for another round of cafe hopping in JB along with Veron my JB Food Kaki.
Will be hopping to 3 cafes in JB.
The Replacement - Lodge & Kitchen is the second establishment from the team of Faculty Of Caffeine! The very classy white building (occupied two shoplots) stands out among the rustic run-down area. The lean white exteriors and interiors is striking from the brownish dust hues that pervades Johor city. Even the menu is a clean white.

Iced Chocolate - RM 12
Iced Chocolate wasn't good. I feel like i am drinking chocolate milk instead of iced chocolate. The milk taste was stronger than the chocolate.

The Breakfast Platter - RM 25.90
It served with scrambled eggs, beef bacon, tomatoes, sauteed mushroom, sausage, veggie, and Brioche toast.
The taste wise, The scrambled eggs was very milky, it has lost the eggy taste. The brioche toast was very hard as if i am eating a ice cube. The beef bacon was acceptable, the taste was just normal. The sauteed mushtoom was just a normal mushroom, the sauteed nowhere to be found.

Eggs Benny with Salmon - RM 23.90
The worst eggs benny that i ever eaten. The veggie in it has spoiled the overall taste!!

Overall, the food was really awful and i will never ever return again!! Although the interior design was good and it was cozy but it doesn't worth a second visit.

Espresso Ice Cube - RM 13.90
Interesting coffee concept. Pour the amount of milk you want and wait for the espresso ice cube to melt. The taste-wise, the coffee was good, it wasn't acidity and the coffee aroma was strong and fragrance even it was in ice cube form. It's a must order drink.

Lemon Strawberry Pie (Left) - RM 12.90
The lemon strawberry pie was damn good!! The lemon strawberry pie was creamy, fragrance, sour and yet sweet too and the bottom layer was chocolate cookie.

Chocolate Mint (Right) - RM 12.90
The chocolate pie was good, it was chocolaty and minty. Both combined well and it was fragrance, and yummy. It's the best pie i ever eaten so far! It worth a many visit.

Overall, The coffee and pie was really good. I highly recommend everyone to order the lemon strawberry pie!! The ambiance was really cozy but it was quite dark too and it give me a sleepy feeling. Hahaha.

I was very disappointed. This milk tea feel like those instant packaging milk tea and it wasn't the hong kong style milk tea taste. This milk tea was very bland and wasn't fragrance at all.

Normal honey lemon but it was slightly on the bland side!

Hong Kong Style French Toast - RM 6.30
Doesn't appetizing at all. The peanut butter in it was very bland and the toast wan't crispy and savory enough. It just a normal toast to me. OMG why am i wasting money in this.

Overall, The food was totally couldn't make it. The service was quite poor too as we waited for very long till the waiter/waitress to come and serve us although we called them for a few times.
