Media Invite: Samsung Galaxy Gear VR for Galaxy S6

Me and my blogger buddy Olivier was invited by 987fm and Samsung SG to try out the latest gadget Samsung Galaxy Gear VR for S6 on 987fm the bro code program.
Putting on the Samsung Gear VR for the first time was a really impressive effect, one with the potential to someday revolutionize the way we interact with virtual worlds.
I only had a limited time with the new Gear VR, so there were a couple of things that I wanted to try out. Firstly, i had a look on the 360 film of a circus, it was excellent, it was best for watching videos. Overall use was good as a home entertainment device
The key feature:
The Gear VR’s white plastic shell was also light and decently comfortable to wear.
The interface is made up of square and rectangular panels that resemble the style of Microsoft’s Modern UI, with large, easy-to-read text. Flipping through UI pages by swiping forward and back on the touch pad and tapping to select makes navigation feel natural, and it’s easy to pick up and understand quickly.
Having used the Oculus Rift DK2, I found the Gear VR liberating in that there’s no cord tethering you to a PC. You’re free to explore your 360-degree environment without fear of getting tangled up in a cable.
The cost of Samsung Galaxy Gear VR will be $298. It's quite worth it!! I definitely will buy it if i own a Samsung Galaxy S6 phone.
