Zao lek is specialised on Lok lok, you can choose to deep fried it or even dip into their soup base. They have a total of 6 soup base. Tom Yum, bak kut teh, Laska, chicken, Mala, and Satay (Additional $4).

What I choose for my soup base? Laska and Bak Kut Teh, this 2 soup base was highly recommend by the owner and was very popular among the customers.
I really like their bak kut teh base, it was more on herbal style and I really like it. The meat, seafood and veggie goes well in this base as for laska base, best to go with the veggie and small dish etc. Try their chili crab dipping sauce and sambal chili sauce it was really good!
Everyone love fried food! Our top favourite was their deep fried broccoli, and sweet potato.

My Verdict:
Zao lek served the best Lok Lok in Singapore and even taste much nicer than in Malaysia! Sometime I find Malaysia Lok Lok. is quite unhygienic! I will definitely recommend it to my friends/family/colleagues. Will be back again for more of the goodness.
