Cafe Review: Atlas Coffeehouse
10:07:00Atlas Coffeehouse - was opened by the folk behind Assembly coffee. Went to try it out with S, after seeing lots of good review.
Atlas coffee house is located at Bukit Timah and it also near botanic garden. The cafe is super pack even at 3pm on a Sunday. We had to wait for awhile to get our table. So be prepare to wait for quite sometime for a table during weekend.
What had we try?
Iced Latte - $5.50++
I find that the latte was pretty normal maybe cause it was in Iced version and the iced affected the taste of the coffee.
Shoes String Truffle Fries - $9++
The aroma of the truffle already killed us before we start to dig in! The fries was crispy, well cover with truffle aroma, however we not sure what the cheese is for, cause it doesn't had any taste at all.
Salmon Soba - $19++
We order one of their famous dish1 Salmon soba, it came with a salmon, shiitake mushroom, fried egg, soba with home-made sauce, and yogurt topped up with seaweed. It was an healthy meal to me. Everything goes well together.
Summer Berries Butter Milk Waffles - $12++
We both find the waffles wasn't that crispy and flavourful enough. They need to improve on their recipe for it.
Food: 2.5/5
Ambiance: 1/5
Service: 3/5
My Verdict:
Overall, we both enjoyed our meal and we both like the truffles fries a lot. We will be back again to try out more dishes.
