Few back ago, I went over to JB for cafe hopping and food hunting along with my friends. We went over to Dontaku Japanese restaurant in Ciy Square Mall for dinner. We always pass by this restaurant but didn't manage to try it finally today got a chance to try.




Green Tea -



Salmon Capacious - 

Salmon topped up with spring onion, garlic, shallot, and soy sauce. The salmon was fresh and good. Good dish to kick start your dinner.

Taste: 2.8/5 



Curry Katsu Don -

Fried Pork Chop with rice and Japanese Curry topped with ginger. Pork katsu was crispy and flavorful. The curry was fragrance, creamy and the spiciness was just right. 

Taste: 2.5/5




Soft Shell Crab -

This soft shell crab was really good! Crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside. The taste was savoury and addictive.

Taste: 3.5/5



Sukiyaki with Beef - 

I already like sukiyaki in Jap Restaurant. This sukiyaki broth was slightly less fragrance and more salty. It was served with carrot, crab meat, enoki mushroom, tofu, Mushroom, and veggie. Beef, rice and fruit on the side. The raw egg is like the sauce for you  to dip your beef in it.

My Verdict: 
The food here was decent. If you run out of place to eat, why not give this restaurant a try.
