Food Review: Seafood and Wuxiang Tze Char x Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice and Curry Rice

13:24:00

Seafood and Wuxiang Tze Char is located at Bras Basah Complex, coffee shop. It famous for their curry fish head. Almost 7 out of 10 people will order their curry fish head.

Curry Fish Head - $24

The tender fish is cooked in thick and creamy curry sauce. The curry was thick and slightly more to the saltish side.  Size of the fish head was justify for the price, it's fleshy and fresh.  It came with loads of fried beancurd skin

Taste: 2.8/5

This is a stall with the Tiong Bahru name in front of it, so it must be good. The newspaper clipping on the front of the stall explains that the shop has been around for 20 years and the stall owner was once one of the chefs dishing out chicken rice at the Mandarin Hotel. Hey, good enough for me to give the chicken rice a try.

Mixed Half Chicken - $15

The chicken wasn't good as i felt that the chicken has it raw smell/taste. Even in the roasted chicken. The sauce was over salty that it has lost everything!!

Taste: 0/5

The chilli sauce wasn't spicy and fragrance enough. The dark soya sauce wasn't think and it was on a bland side.

Overall, The food over here was very bad, same goes to the service as they was very rude and impatient!! The ambiance was very hot and noisy.
