Ayam Penyet Ria is a famous Indonesian restaurant chain with 5 outlets across Singapore. This restaurant chain is specialized in Ayam Penyet, a smashed fried chicken dish, which has been praised as one of the most delicious fried chicken on earth.
Ayam Penyet (Smashed Fried Chicken) - $7.90
The Ayam Penyet comprised of a plate of plain rice and a plate filled with half a smashed chicken, kangkong, fried beancurd, beancake, raw cabbage and cucumber, batter crumbs and sambal chilli.
The sambal chilli was incredibly spicy yet addictive. Eat with caution!! The chicken was crispy but the meat was a little bit dry. It would be good to order a drink in advance such as Lime Juice to help ease the spiciness.

Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken) - $8.90
The Ayam Bakar wasn't as nice as the smashed fried chicken. The grilled chicken sauce wasn't that good, it was slightly towards the bland side and the chicken wasn't well grilled. The meat was slightly dry.
Taste: 2/5 (Extra Point for the Chilli)
Ayam Tanpa Tulang (Boneless Chicken) - $7.90
Taste similar to Ayam Penyet.

Overall, The food was good especially the Sambal Chilli!! That was my favourite out of all. Everyone should give it a try. Jthejon highly recommend!!
