Food Review: Yoogane

12:30:00

Established in 1981, it's one of the most popular and best Chicken Galbi Restaurants in Korea.
Yoogane is extremely well received in Busan , Korea where it all started. Despite fierce competition from other restaurants specializing in chicken galbi, they were able to achieve tremendous success. The unique blend of sauces and seasoning that we have developed using top and fresh ingredients is what sets them apart from others.

Korean Brown Rice Tea - $3

Brown rice tea, known as "genmaicha" in Japanese, is a special blend of green tea and roasted brown rice. Brown rice tea contains flavonoids, antioxidants, trace minerals and vitamins. Brown rice tea has a nutty aroma and flavor.

Yoogane's Chicken Galbi - $14.90 for 1 pax

It was good!! I ordered 2 pax portion of chicken galbi. The portion was really huge for a 2 pax. The meat was tender and well marinated. The spiciness level was less than moderate. But it was sightly sweet too.

Marinated Chicken Stew - $16.90

It was an average dish. The broth wasn't that spicy and it was slightly bland. The ingredients was fresh and the chicken was well marinated and tender but the tasted wasn't as good as the Galbi.

Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Service: 4/5

Overall, the food was good, price was reasonable. The only thing i don't like was queuing, queued for almost an hour to get a table. But it was worth it!!
