Food Review: Asia's Top Udon Chain Tamoya Udon Launches Two New Udon Flavours

16:21:00

Tamoya was established in the home of udon, Sanuki (now known as Kagawa) prefecture in 1996 by Sanuki udon champion, Tamotsu Kurokawa.

Tamoya Singapore is first in Southeast Asia and also first overseas outlet!

Brought all the way from Tamoya Japan, from Kagawa prefecture, Sanuki udon is hand-crafted from Tamoya's proprietary flour mixture (made from 3 different flour) and is served with "golden dashi" broth.

Tamoya launched brand-new Tonkotsu Udon, featuring Tamoya’s signature springy udon noodles in a rich and fragrant garlic tonkotsu soup and the Tonjiru Udon with house-made Red Miso soup. These hearty bowls of udon will surely bring a comforting warmth to your tummy!

Tonkotsu Udon ($10.80)

Features Tamoya’s signature springy udon noodles with rich and creamy tonkotsu soup boiled for long period of time.
The broth is fragrance and addictive. I can have this bowl of udon for every day.

You should give it a try.

Tonjiru Udon ($10.20)
Tonjiru Onsen Udon (house-made Red Miso soup) is slightly sweet but yet it was so yummy.
