Food Review: Master Crab Seafood Restaurant
14:10:00
Master Crab, the friendly neighbourhood tze char stall known for its specialty in salted egg crabs raved by many. Beside salted egg crabs, chilli crab and crab bee hoon is another favourite dish among many. Master crab has a few outlets around in Singapore. I visited punggol outlet with my parent.
Chilli Crab -
The chilli crab sauce was a tad too sweet for our liking! Somehow i can taste a bit of tom yum in it maybe they added tom yum paste in it. This is definitely won't go in to my top list of chilli crab! The crab was huge and fresh but sadly the sauce wasn't good enough.
Taste: 0.75/5
Salted Egg Crab -
The signature of Master Crab! The salted egg gravy was so rich and felt so cholesterol laden and it was so addictive. Though full of salted egg, there was still a sweet aftertaste and perhaps the use of some spices.
Taste: 2.5/5
Prawn Paste Chicken -
The prawn paste ckicken was a tad too salty for us but the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Taste: 1.5/5
Sambal Kangkong -
The sambal was slightly bland and sweet instead of spicy!!
Taste: 0.5/5
Overall, A comfy space considering that it’s a tze char stall, it was well-ventilated and spacious, serving decent food overall.
