Paddy Hills: Cafe By Day, Tapas Bar By Night. Located on 38 South Buona Vista Road, it is near Haw Par Villa and NUS. Paddy Hills has cause a hype on social media since the opening, and now it has became the top of everyone’s to-go list, including mine.
A gorgeous and spacious cafe serving fusion cuisine.

Refreshing and a tad sweet mocktail.
Taste: 3/5
Squid Ink Tagliatell - $29
Puffed Rice, Seared Scallops, Mentaiko, Ikura, Tobiko.
The taste of squid ink was distinct but i find it overwhelmed and worst that it was paired with Tagliatell, it will make the pasta sauce more thick. The added crunch and popping goodness from the various roes enhanced the overall taste!

Paella - $29
Unagi, clam, prawn, scallop, preserved meat and rice.
This paella tasted similar to our local "Claypot rice". It was a tad salty in the rice as preserved meat was used it this dish and the aroma smell was overwhelmed by the preserved meat. The seafood was fresh till we can taste the sea aroma.

Overall, I don't really like the food over at paddy hills but i do love the ambience! The place is great to chill over a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or quenchers as well, with a nice interior aesthetic & atmosphere. The food here was pricey too so you might consider before making a trip down!
