8 Must Try Cafe in JB

11:53:00

Every one love cafe hopping, and in JB now, there's a lot cafe opening and it attracted lots of Singaporean go over and cafe hop.Even myself also go in often to cafe hop and hunting for good food.

So now I'll be recommending my top 8 must-try cafe in JB.

1. Koone.

KOONE started its soft opening on 12th November 2015 and I decided to visit them over the weekend. The softserve parlour is few doors step away from TIP, The Ice-Cream Project. The competition heat just gets hotter along Jalan Dhoby with the hipster café. Since it opening, the dessert is always pop up on everyone instagram feed.

It comes with the liquid nitrogen that lasts for approximately 30 seconds. Indeed an instagram-worthy soft-serve I would say. It was rich, creamy and smooth chocolate and not overly bitter even though it could be a little icy sometimes. Pretty worth the price for the gimmick and the treat.

2. The Ice Cream Project (TIP).

The Ice-Cream Project (TIP), a business run by an ice-cream passionate is situated right smack in the middle of Jalan Dhoby, just opposite IT Roo Cafe. The shop lot doesn't have a huge signboard for you to notice it, just plainly-painted dark grey. Do not fret though! There is cute swing from our childhood days and a striking green carpet (fake grass) under it which aids in finding the shop. The Ice Cream Project are vegan-friendly, consist of only dairy products, they don't use any rennet or animal gelatin so you can be assured quality ice-cream with every spoonful. The ice-creams are made on the spot as you place your order. By using liquid nitrogen.

The ice-creams were up to expectations and let's hope they come up with more unique flavours for the menu.

5. Foodie Wedding.

It’s a new trend in Johor Bahru (JB) for cafes to be jointly set up in the same establishment as bridal studios or boutiques. The beautifully set up studios and boutiques form the perfect backdrop for a chic cafe/ restaurant, the F&B options draw crowd and publicity to the studios, and also generates additional revenues to defray overheads. A brilliant collaboration.Foodie wedding, Adjoining D’gui Bridal, it features a “European style” cafe, with a charming exterior and equally lovely interior.

This place not just insta-worthy, the food is also good. Highly recommended you to try pasta and finger foods cause it was good.
