Food Review: L'entrecote
01:16:00Hi fellow readers, I am back again for more foodie update.
For this entry, i am heading down to L'entrecote restaurant at Suntec city for dinner with two of my friends that's O, and T.
L’Entrecôte’s third outlet, 130-seater restaurant that like its predecessors focuses on the traditional French steak fries, the steak and fries popularized in Paris in the 1930s that today is commonly served in brasseries across France (and the rest of the world). Olivier Bendel opened the first L’Entrecôte on 36 Duxton Hill in September 2010, so a third outlet in 3 years seem like modest growth. Bendel has also opened restaurants like Sabio, Sabio By The Sea, La Cantine, Forlino and &Made. In that case, it’s very successful.
La Niçoise - $11
Salad Niçoise Style, With Tuna, Egg, Beans, Onion,
Tomato, Olives And Lettuce.
The salad was good but the tuna tasted weird, i don't think the fresh tuna goes well with this salad.
L’Agneau - $24
Lamb Cutlets, fries, and veggie.
The lamb cutlets was a bit too dry and overcooked. The fries was normal.
Le Canard - $20
Duck Leg Confit, veggie and fries.
The duck leg was pretty bad as it was salty and dry.
Le Steak Tartare - $18
Knife Chopped Raw Beef, Served With Onion, Parsley,
Capers, Its Seasonings & An Egg, Served With unlimited French Fries.
The steak was pre-cut into slices and then drizzled generously with their signature sauce. The sauce was really good.

If you’re wondering what’s the difference between Light, Classic and Large, well, the main difference is in the weight of the beef:

Large = 300g
L’Entrecôte Classic = 200g
Large = 300g
