Jthejon Bar Hopping venture. 


First Stop, Harry's Bar. 


Harry’s begun with a flagship outlet set against the scenic Boat Quay in 1992. Over the years, Harry’s has grown to become Singapore’s most well-established bar and dining chain — with outlets located at key business districts and suburban areas.





 Cheesy Nachos with Guacamole,

Nachos was crisp and thin. The guacamole was sour and very refreshing. 
A good starter to kick off the meal. 

 Lamb Shank,

Lamb meat was stewed still very soft that make the meat tender and don't need any effort to chew. The sauce was fragrant and savory. 

Fish & Chips,

Fish was breaded and deep fried. I felt that the fish was a little over fried, oily, and plain. The thick cut fries was normal. 





Harry's Premium Lager (Bucket),

The harry's premium larger tasted light and smooth. Suitable for those light drinker and lady.

Second Stop, Starker.

Derived from the German word that means 'stronger', Starker literally revives an old world style of beer drinking, offering you a strong, unrivalled taste of truly fresh beer that many beer connoisseurs have missed for generations.

Go here for Casual drinks , Kick back after a hard day’s work and relax. Head on down to Starker bar to have a bite and drink with a family friendly atmosphere. People who like to watch sports, Starker bar is a good place to watch your favorite sports with a wide variety of drinks.

Third Stop, Baden Restaurant and Pub. 


Baden Restaurant and Pub served German cuisine and authentic German draft beer. Spend time in the ever vibrant ambiance at Holland Village and get greeted by friendly and attentive staff, yummy food in huge portions, and ice cold beer.







 Pork Knuckles, 

The pork knuckles was pretty good as the skin was crispy and complete with tasty fat underneath, the meat was tender and crumbled away off the bone. the portion was huge too, it can be shared with 4 person.

Baden is located at Holland Village, the famous chilling place in Singapore. The food was good and price was reasonable. It was a good place to chill with friends and have casual drink.c

Fourth Stop, Muchos.


 Muchos offers a taste of Mexican exotic flavors with over 40 mouth-watering selection of snacks, starters, soups, salads and main courses.





 Braised Pork Ribs,

Itr was pretty bad as the braised pork ribs was tough and bland. The sauce was normal nothing special. 

 Seafood Platter,

It served with Chicken wings, Calamari rings, Potato wedges, Prawn, and Mexican wraps. 

The Mexican wraps was good, the ingredients was fresh and the sauce in it was nice and tasty. Other was just average. 

Lime Margarita (Left), Lychee Margarita (Right).

Food was just average, price wise was acceptable. I think i can find even better Mexican food at other places.

Fifth Stop, Margarita.

Margarita's serves authentic Mexican cuisine and is regularly patronized by Singapore's Mexican community.
It offer a memorable dining experience in a pleasant ambience - a place for friends, family, lovers and acquantainces to discover the joy and excitement of good Mexican food.



 Nacho Cheese, 

Nacho was crispy and salty, the cheese dip was hot, spicy, cheesy and fragrant.

  
 Chimichanga, 

The olive rice was fragrant and healthy, the beef wrap topped with salsa was pretty good, the salsa was sour and spicy. The beef was fresh and well seasoned.  It was soft and fragrant from the spices. 

 Enchiladas,

Similar to Chimichanga, the different is the sauce. The green in ranchera sauce was good, it was spicy and fragrant from the spices. 

Margarita,

The signature cocktails was pretty good. Everyone should give it a try.

Food quality was good, price was reasonable and the ambience was cozy and chill. It a good place to have a dinner with either family, friends, or even date. Highly recommended.

Sixth Stop, Wala Wala cafe bar. 

Wala Wala Café Bar, a two-storey breezy bar in Holland Village. It has attract a lot of people coming back for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It also owned KPO bar and Nassim hill bakery bistro bar. 



 Fries,

It was normal. 

 Calamari Rings,

The calamari ring was breaded and deep fried still crispy  and golden brown. the taste was chewy and crispy on the outside. But it was not that oily. 

Margherita Pizza,

It was pretty good, the outer side area was crisp, and the pizza was thin and well seasoned. The ingredients was fresh and cheesy.

 The food quality was alright, price is reasonable. It was a good place to chill over with drink and listen to live band. The live band sing quite well too and it bring out the atmosphere over the bar.

Seventh Stop, Kpo cafe bar.  

KPO Cafe Bar is located at Killiney Road Post Office. It offer a wide range of fusion food.







Wagyu Beef Cubes

Quite a unique dish but it wasn't that fantastic. The wagyu beef cubes was a bit tough and dry. But i was well seasoned.  


Steak and Eggs,

It was a pretty good as the steak was tender , juicy, and well seasoned. The mushroom sauce was fragrant, thick, and savory. Chips was thin, crisp and not salty. The chips is quite additive.

Fishs and Chips,

It was alright but i think i can a better fish and chips some where else. The fish was plain and salty. The thick cut fries was dry and cold. 

Sweet and Sour Pork rice,

It was good, the sweet and sour pork meat was tender. The sauce was the soul of this dish, the sauce was damn good, the sweetness and sourness was just right . 

Pizza Italian Sausage,

Pizza was thin and Plain. Italian sausage was a little bit tasteless too. What an disappointing dish.

Food wise was just so so. Price wise was overpriced. Ambience was noisy and no live band, music they play was lousy. Service staff was rude and ignorance. Waiting time was slow for food and bill. Even asking for menu and iced water also took more than 5 mins. 


Eighth Stop, Acid Bar. 

Housed within a quaint restored shophouse, Acid Bar draws you in with its intimate ambience and acoustic rhythms of resident bands – an oasis for barflies and music lovers alike.



Truffles Fries,

It was pretty good, as the fries was crispy, hot, and truffles fries aroma was strong. The cheese was bring into enhanced the taste of the price. 


Chicken Wings,

Chicken wings was well fried, crispy on the outside and the meat was tender and smooth. 


Kirin beer,

Very light taste beer.

Food was good, price was reasonable. The ambience there was alright, as i found the place was a little bit noisy but the live band was good.

It a great place for a quiet cocktail with a significant other or a fun place for drinks with friends. Food menu wasn't extensive but good choice, well priced and well presented. Nice place to start the evening out. If like me you frequent emerald hill but have not tried alley bar before then it's worth the detour.

Tenth Stop, Outdoors cafe and bar. 

A peaceful alcove for people-watching or simply a refreshing drink to knock back while you kick back. You’ll be spoil for choice at this alfresco delight.






 Truffle Fries,

It was just so so. The fries was well seasoned but the truffle aroma was not very strong and it was not crispy enough. 

Buffalo Wings,

The sauce wasn't that fantastic, as it was  more to sour then spicy. The wings was a little bit cold too.

Food was just average, price wise was acceptable. The service was quite bad as it was impolite and very slow.

Eleventh Stop, Little Saigon. 

Chill Out Vietnamese-style at Little Saigon. Adorned with classic Vietnamese lanterns in navy blue and a playful splash of yellow amidst the warm dark-wooden setting, Little Saigon is as beautifully mesmerising as it is welcoming. Embrace the alluringly sexy mood while you savour modern Vietnamese cuisine, sip wicked cocktails, and slither sensually to the intoxicating music by its live band, Acoustic Bounce....all in Little Saigon by the riverside in Clarke Quay.



Pork Meat Ball,

Pork meat ball was tough, plain and not fresh. 

Spring Roll,

A healthy side but nothing special about it.



Saigon Kick,

Tequila, Orange Curacao, Ginger Syrup, Orange Peel

Mojito,

Classic cocktail.

Food was quite bad but the drink is acceptable. Price wise was acceptable. The service was slow and inefficient.
