In 2015, Matchaya began a life-changing journey around Japan with the intention of sourcing for the best premium ingredients from different prefectures for our teas.

Wanting customers to enjoy authentic Japanese milk tea, every flavour was carefully and painstakingly formulated with different suppliers within Japan.

They are meticulous. Each flavour went through at least 100 taste-tests before soft launching to the public for feedback.

The hojicha flavours wasn't that impactful enough and the soft serve was creamy but overall was just normal.
