Cafe Review: Miss Molly's Cafe

17:14:00

Miss Molly’s Cafe is located in Tanjong Pagar. The quiet little cafe has a vintage interior.

It’s a current trend to have the rusty/warehouse, looking interior design for cafes and even hair salon.

Set lunches are available from 12 noon to 3pm, but choices are limited to a few selected mains.

Mocha - $5.50

The mocha has a light coffee aroma and low acidity. It has a strong milk chocolate flavor. The mocha was average.

Latte - $4

The coffee has a light aroma and low acidity. It has a light milk chocolate flavor too. It was not really a good coffee.

Seafood Stew - $15.80

Prawn, squid, fish, mussel and spinach, in white wine and tomato base. Serve with garlic baguette.

It was pretty good. The broth was fresh, light, and sweetness from the seafood. ingredients was fresh. The garlic baguette was surprising good, it was crispy, garlic aroma was strong and the garlic was tasty.

Laska Pasta with Prawn - $15.80

Prawn, Linguine tossed with homemade laska paste and rich coconut milk.

It was really good. The laska sauce was spicy, rich, creamy, and the fragrant. Noodle texture was soft and chewy. Prawn was fresh and juicy. It's a must-try-dish.

Lava Cake - $6.90

It was quite disappointing as the lava cake didn't met with our expectation. The chocolate supposed to flow out but it didn't. Taste-wise, the cake was a bit hard and not chocolaty enough.

Tiramisu - $5.90

The tiramisu was good, every layers was pretty good. It was soft and the sweetness was perfect.

Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 4.25/5
Service: 3/5

Miss Molly’s cafe has a nice relax ambiance with some creative interesting food on the menu. It's a good place to spend some alone time in the afternoon with Tea or have some small bites.
