Cafe Review: Park Cafe Holland Village

14:33:00

PARK, a café by day and bistro by night has opened its doors to the Holland Village neighborhood.

PARK sits just beside the traffic intersection and draws constant attention from its eco-friendly infrastructure. The steel and glass structure remains the conversation point of many in the neighborhood but its seemingly simple facade is a combination of multiple design considerations.
PARK is constructed from 3 containers taken apart and then reassembled on site. This is to fit into the green nature of the design theme and another talking point is that of the roof. Solar panels line the entire surface and PARK is keen to become of the very few F&B establishments to do its part for the environment.
A café by day, PARK is proud to offer it’s special blend of coffee to the public. PARK offers a selection of espresso drinks on top of its full day brunch menu, salads, sandwiches and pastas. Come night, the menu changes to a bistro menu and a wide selection of alcohol are added to whet the customer’s appetites.

Menu:

Food:
Earl Grey (Left), Merlot Blueberry - $6 per pot

Pretty normal earl grey tea, but the merlot blueberry tea was quite unique. Merlot blueberry tea was light, fragrant and refreshing.

Tru ffle Fries - $11

Perennial favorite of fries tossed with white tru ffle oil and paste,
sprinkled with a layer of parmesan cheese.

An pretty normal truffle fries. The fries was crispy but the truffle aroma wasn't strong enough.
Pesto Chicken Crepes with Sundried Tomato - $12.80

Sliced Chicken and sundried tomato cooked in pesto cream sauce.

Tru ffle Mac & Cheese - $12.80

It was pretty bad, Barely can taste the truffle, although the truffle smell was overwhelmed. After a few mouth, you just get sick of it and stop eating.

Crispy Juicy Chicken Honey Oat Burger - $15.80

Juicy chicken thigh, deep fried to a golden brown and served
on a honey oat bun.

The chicken was pretty huge and juicy, it was well deep fried. Honey oat bun goes well with the juicy chicken thigh. The fries was good too.
