Cafe Reviews: Ronin Cafe // Selfish Gene Cafe // D'Good Cafe

I'm very stressful now due to my new job. I don't know will i survive for 1 month or not.
But i will try my best for this 1 month. Will decide if i am going to change a new job when my 1 month probation is ending.
Going to start off with a food post of dinner at Ronin Cafe with my blogger friend.

Saturday - Sunday, 8am-730pm
Ronin cafe is opened by the folks behind The Plain and The Bravery. At ronin cafe they don't provide any menu for customers to browse. The usual coffee selection will be available but for food, the servers will explain to you what’s available for food and its ingredients. I think is quite unique but the food selection is quite limited.
Latte ($4.20) // Ronin uses the same Genovese blend as The Bravery and The Plain. It was super strong and aromatic.
Scrambled Eggs set with Portobello Mushrooms and bacon ($12) // The scrambled eggs was so fluffy and it was so good. The portobello mushroom was even delicious. The rest of the sides on the plate was just average.
French Toast ($14) // The french toast was too sweet for me. I don't really like it.

It was a great catch up with Olivier my blogger friend once in awhile.
Next stop will be at selfish gene cafe with the usual friend Oogii.

I was practicing a artistic shot but guess it not good enough yet.
Cafe Latte ($4.80+) // The coffee was below average.
Breakfast Plate ($15.80+) // The food was not up to expectation. Everything on the plate was just average.

There is no service charge at selfish gene cafe.
An disappointing trip to the cafe.
The last stop will be a D'good cafe for brunch with a friend.

The cafe is split into 3 levels. And this is rooftop seating area.

All Day Breakfast ($16.50) // It was served with toasted brioche, back bacon, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, baked tomato, toasts, English Cumberland sausage and scrambled eggs. The only thing nice in this plates was the scrambled eggs, the rest was average. I don't really like the taste of the sausage.
Bacon Carbonara ($15) // I find it too creamy, but the portion of bacon was quite generous.
Latte ($5.60) // The coffee was average but the coffee art was damn good.

There is no service charge and GST at D'Good cafe.
