Having a monthly family dinner at Singapore seafood republic restaurant this time.
It is great to have a monthly family dinner because my siblings and I don't usually talk much to our parents and it will be a good time to share our stories with our parents.
Signature Chilli Crab / Be prepared to be sweating when having their signature chilli crab, the fiery red gravy had a tangy & spicy taste so it was not that spicy! The crab meat was fresh, sweet and thick. Do order their delicious golden brown-mantous (Fried-buns) to dip into the sauce. It is the best thing to match with sauce.
Black Pepper Crab / It was spicier than i expected. The black pepper sauce was spicier than the chlli crab sauce, but it was still delicious. The crab meat was fresh and thick.
Crispy Fried Chicken / It was disappointing, The chicken was not crispy enough and the meat was not tender too. Not recommended!
Fish otak in banana leaf / The fish otak was just ok. It was not spicy, but the otak meat was fresh.
Seafood Bacon Roll in Salad Cream / It wasn't good enough, the salad cream was too strong and it overcomes the main things. Not recommended!
Sambal Kang-Kong / KangKong is water volvulus also commonly know as water spinach. It is also one of our local favorite dishes in Singapore. The sambal kangkong tasted beyond average, the spiciness was there and it's not so oily.
