Expect 4 different broths (Collagen, Tom Yum, Spicy, Bak Kut Teh) for your hot pot. The broth is daily brew with 12 ingredients for over 10 hours while the ingredients are bought from the fish market daily.
I really like their interior design, it give me a homely and cozy environment to enjoy my steamboat.
Range of sauces for you to choose from.
Home-made lemon tea. It tasted just perfect. The sweetness and fragrance was on point.
Fish -
Fresh fish from wet market. They went all the way down to the wet market everyday to choose their fish and it to ensure their ingredients is fresh and good quality.
Beef-
What is steamboat without a good beef. The slices of beef was perfect.
Home-made Prawn Ball -
This is one of their signature dish! They handmade their prawn ball daily and with their own recipe too. It was chewy and meaty. A must try dish!
Beef stomach -
Don't dip into the steamboat for long. Best is to dip it about 3mins. If too long, the beef will lose it soft and chewy texture.
They are many more food selection for you to choose from. Seafood, meat, speciality, veggies and etc.
For soup base, we choose Spicy and Collagen.
Spicy base tasted like Mala, but it wasn't too spicy so non spicy lover can enjoy it too.
Collagen base was good. The broth was sweet, clean and quite addictive too. You can have a bowl of collagen soup before adding in the ingredients. After ingredients was added in, the soup taste will slightly change.
My Verdict:
I enjoy my dining experience at Love In The Pot. Recommend for group or family to dine in. Their food quality was good and the speciality home-made food was even better, it's a must try dish.
