Hi everyone! I am back again for this week's food post.
Finally it is September, a new month and a fresh start. I hope everything will go smoothly this month for me and everyone.
I had make a decision, I will leave my current job when my probation end that is on next Wednesday. I think I am really not suited to be a telemarketer. Haha.
Gonna start off with food post over at skinny pizza restaurant.
Usual meet up with T and O. Went to plaza singapura outlet.
We heard that skinny pizza is voted as best of the best by Her world so we decided to give it a try. Skinny pizza had expended to more outlets across singapore. It has a total of 6 outlets currently.

Squid Ink Pizza ($29++) // The pizza was topped up with Prawns, onion, squid, tomato salsa, basil, and parsley on the squid ink crust. It tasted unique but was good. It is a must try pizza when you guys come over to skinny pizza.
Meatball Napolitana Pizza ($24++) // The pizza was served with Meatball, onion, basil, and tomato salsa. The meatball was just average. I wasn't too impressed with it.
Truffles Fries ($8++) // It just tasted like normal fries. Nothing impressive with it.
Red Milk Tea ($5++) // Nothing special about it. It tasted just like local coffee shops milk tea.

The services was slow even during non peak hours. I find it overpriced with just slightly better pizzas. But it worth a try.
Next stop is nando's restaurant over at plaza singapura again. As I am lazy to travel to far places so this week's restaurant hop all at plaza singapura. Had a late lunch with O on a lazy Saturday.
Nando's specialises in serving Portuguese grilled chicken glazed with different levels of their home made peppery sauce. Nando's is over the world and it is quite successful in Asia region too.

Half chicken with 2 reg sides ($21.90++) // Tried the mild levels of spiciness but I regret after that because it not spicy at all for me. But the meat was tender and juicy, the sauce was great. The sides was just normal. I chose corn and wedges.

The service was poor over here. It take more than 20 mins to take our food order and what's worst was that they charged us extra for our bill. If I ever go nando's again, I won't go to this outlet anymore.
Last stop of the week, I headed to ambush for dinner with O AND T after my work.
Ambush is a fast casual dining restaurant which serve European cuisine.

It has a creative idea of designing the menu in a format of newspaper.
German Mini Sausages Platter ($8.80++) // It has two different types of sausages, first was chicken garlic and second was chicken cheese. The chicken cheese sausages was bad, couldn't even tasted the cheese, but the chicken garlic sausages were good.
Mussel Pot ($15.60++ for small) ($18.60++ for Large) // We chose our soup base in white wine sauce. It tasted well with the mixture of sautéed onion, smoked streaky bacon, white wine. It is a must try dish.
Squid Ink pasta ($14.80++) // It served with baby scallop and flying fish roe in squid ink sauce. This is the first time I try squid ink pasta and it tasted great. Warning: It will stain the teeth.
Char Grilled Rib eye ($18.90++) // It was served with whole grain mustard brown sauce. The sauce was just average. Disappointed dish, it not worth a try.
Italian Soda ($3.80++) // Raspberry Flavoured, tasted just like normal soda.

The service was fast but the food was just normal. The price is considered cheap over here so it is really worth a try.
