This new hawker centre opened on 4 August 2015, is co-located within Ci Yuan Community Club at Hougang Avenue 9. Consisting of 40 cooked food stalls with 640 seats, it is the first of the 20 new hawker centres planned by National Environment Agency (NEA). Fei Siong Food Management Pte Ltd (Fei Siong) has been appointed the managing agent for this hawker centre. It is equipped with tray-return facilities, natural ventilation and family-friendly features such as child-friendly toilet facilities and family-friendly seating. Another special feature to take note; every stall has an automated payment machine – customers are expected to insert the notes and coins into it for payment.
Recommending what nice food is over there.
1. The pasta stop.
Chicken Pasta Set -
Chicken Pasta (S$7.50) with Mushroom Soup, Garlic Bread and Tiramisu (S$2.80 meal top-up for all the 3 items) from Pasta Stop. I had this yummy and value-for-money meal at the newly opened Ci Yuan Hawker Centre. I like the use of the automated payment machine to make payment which in my opinion is so much better than the card payment system (I really hate the hassle of having to top up my meal card).

Devil Chicken -
Tried this Devil Chicken. The portion was quite big and it served with sweet potato fries, potatoes fries and garlic chili sauce dip. The chicken was well fried still it crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was well marinated chicken. The garlic chilli sauce was slightly to garlicky and less spicy.

Wanton Mee (Previous review on Pontian) -
Average wanton mee that everyone agree with it.
4. Chicken Rice.
Roasted Chicken x Steamed Chicken -
The crispy and fragrant skin from roasted chicken or the velvety smooth skin from the usual steamed chicken? Both cooking style of chicken is really good! You can satisfy ur chicken rice craving by having this plate of chicken.

5. Fish Soup.
Fish Soup-
This fish soup is the best stall in Hougang area! The broth was sweet, clear and flavorful! The fish was very fresh and tasty.
