Mookata actually mean, “Moo” stands for pork and “kata” means skillet. It is a unique cooking way that allows diners to enjoy barbecue and hot-pot at the same time. The special about mookata is they used pork lard instead of butter or oil.

Spicy lover alert, their red chili sauce was really spicy, the more you eat, the spicier you will feel. For the non-spicy lover, you can try their green chili sauce as it tasted slightly sweet with a mild spicy.
My Verdict:
I enjoyed my experience at Chok Chai Thai Mookata. The food was well prepared and fresh. They really put in lots of effort in it to present the best quality food for the customers. Even the chili was home-made by them. The price of the Mookata meal was affordable, so that everyone can enjoy the best Thai Mookata located in the heart of Ang Mo Kio Ave 1.
